Cedar Creek: The Pleasure that Comes from Grapes!

Cedar Creck, located in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, is a winery owned and operated by an Irish-American family: the Fitzpatricks. Even though the family has inhabited the Okanagan Valley since 1913, it was not until 1986 when Ross Fitzpatrick bought a small apple orchard and winery. Afterward, he focused on the grapes and turned the orchard into a vineyard by 1991. Ross brought high quality European grape varieties to replace apples. This was the beginning of one of the best winery companies; in fact, the company was chose Winery of the Year by Canadian Wine Awards in 2005 for the second time.

Their commitment to land protection, tradition and perfection is not only stated in their philosophy but also expressed in the high quality of their products. They have also been blessed with a land perfect for viticulture and the production of wines. The recognition this winery has and the awards it has received are the result of years of hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit. If you want to have a remarkable experience in Canada, do not hesitate to visit this winery and be part of the thousands of tourists who visit it each summer.

They provide visitors with tastings, tours and entertainment. There, you will find a restaurant called The Vineyard Terrace wherein you will have the possibility to enjoy, besides an exquisite cuisine, a stunning view of the vineyards. Your visit will be even more significant thanks to the Sunset Concert that combines music, wine and food to give tourists magical evenings. In case of having an special activity, reception or dinner, you would certainly choose The Pavilon. This “Mediterranean oasis” has a privileged location: surrounded by Cedar Creek's vineyard and rose garden. If visiting Canada, do not miss the chance to be part of the pleasure that comes from grapes!
